On behalf of the 7 Jewish Federations in Connecticut and its community relations agencies, JFACT (Jewish Federation Association Of Connecticut) offers its sincerest condolences to the people of France and President Hollande. At a rally in Tel Aviv, former President of Israel, Shimon Peres addressed the rally in French with these words, “We are all French . We stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of France in the war against the barbaric terror that threatens the peace of the whole world. Your war is  our war. Your values are our values. They are the values of the entire world.” Following the terrorist attacks in Paris, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated, “An attack on any of us is an attack on all of us, and must be condemned with unwavering determination.”

JFACT applauds Governor Dannel Malloy on announcing the Flag of France will immediately fly over the Connecticut state Capitol and outside the Governor’s residence. He said, “We must stand up against terrorism and extremism across the world.”

Our hearts are heavy because these horrid acts of terror took the lives of innocent people.
