Governor Lamont heads Business Delegation to Israel
| JFACT had the pleasure of being part of the first Gubernatorial delegation to visit Israel in 25 years. The goal of the mission was to strengthen the business relationships between Connecticut and Israel. Our delegation was afforded extraordinary access to leadership in the Israeli Government (Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, President Isaac Herzog and other ministers), Technion, multiple venture capitalists and startups, influential business leaders and Google Israel. During our meetings, JFACT spoke about the vibrant Jewish communities and infrastructure Connecticut has, as well as our lobbying of our Congressional delegation on the $38b Memorandum of Understanding between Israel and the United States and support for Iron Dome. One of the most profound moments of the mission was the tour of Yad Vashem with Governor Lamont. The Governor called it the most meaningful hour of his life.
