Private School Transportation

On March 1, 2016, Bob Fishman testified before the Education Committee at a Public Hearing, in support of expanding transportation for private schools.

Currently, the state funds the Regional Educational Service Centers (RESC), providing safe cross town transportation for their schools.  JFACT is advocating on behalf of the private school sector to collaborate with the CREC system to share bus routes. This would benefit the schools and towns economically and increase the safety and security of the students during the morning and afternoon commutes.
